The Riedell Group's Update
The Riedell Group has continued to grow steadily, expanding its services and expertise while remaining rooted in the values of a family-owned business. The company proudly welcomed Curtis Riedell to the team, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the landscaping industry. Curtis has earned industry recognition for the exceptional quality and beauty of the sites he has managed. His leadership as Account Manager and Production Manager has played a key role in elevating service quality and expanding the company’s operational capabilities.
Building on this strong foundation, The Riedell Group is preparing for the future by welcoming Casjen Riedell, son of Jessica and Curtis Riedell, into the organization. Casjen supports production operations while contributing across multiple roles within the company, ensuring continuity, innovation, and long-term growth.
Leveraging Curtis Riedell’s expertise, The Riedell Group has expanded into the management of large commercial properties, providing comprehensive landscape maintenance and snow removal services. In addition, our construction crews have successfully broadened their scope to include large-scale hard-scape projects for both residential and commercial clients.
The Riedell Group is proud to employ a dedicated team of professionals who take great pride in their work and consistently deliver the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Jessica Riedell, Owner
I have a degree in Horticulture from Iowa State University and have worked in the landscaping industry for the past 20 years. I also joined and served on the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association Sustainability Committee for many years and have a passion for sustainable landscaping practices. I am still involved in the ILCA and have met and worked with many industry leaders through my involvement.
I love working with passionate clients to manage and always improve their landscapes throughout the Chicagoland area. I have great customers that have provided me spectacular opportunities to work on awesome projects over the years. I started The Riedell Group because of all that support from those industry leaders, customers, and family. I have a desire to continue to provide great service and beautiful landscaping with sustainable practices.
I believe it is important to continue to learn and grow through educational opportunities and experiences. I love working with passionate customers to manage and always improve their landscapes. Whether it is entertaining for parties or preparing for a garden wedding we are here to help.
Curtis Riedell, Vice President and Commercial Manager
Curtis Riedell, Vice President and Commercial Manager of The Riedell Group, grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa, where he developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for hands-on craftsmanship. He is a graduate of an Iowa community college and brings more than 25 years of experience in the landscaping industry.
Throughout his career, Curtis has worked in every aspect of the business from field operations and maintenance crew management to client relations as an Account Manager. His work has earned multiple industry accolades, including Gold Medal and Decade Awards for excellence in property management.
Curtis is passionate about transforming clients’ landscape visions into reality, with a particular focus on commercial properties. His expertise lies in organization, attention to detail, and delivering consistent, high-quality service that allows properties to perform and shine. Through his knowledge and leadership, Curtis helps property managers achieve exceptional results while maintaining long-term value.

JESSICA RIEDELL OF THE RIEDELL GROUP, LLC ACHIEVES RECERTIFICATION OF THE LANDSCAPE INDUSTRY CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN NATIONAL DESIGNATION
The achievement of the Landscape Industry Certified designation demonstrates a distinguished level of professionalism. Certification is voluntary and it represents a professional’s dedication to exhibiting superior knowledge in his or her field. Only a select few, approximately 1% of landscape professionals working in the United States today, are certified.
NALP’s Landscape Industry Certified program, supported and used internationally, offers seven different certifications that include expertise in lawn care, interior plant care, horticulture, landscape care, and business management.
The National Association of Landscape Professionals (formerly PLANET) is the voice of 100,000 landscape and lawn care industry professionals who create and maintain healthy green spaces. The association advocates on issues impacting its members and offers mentoring and education programs that inspire its members to excellence. Future of The Company
Although the landscaping industry is full of small businesses, I have the experience of Brickman Quality, twenty years of field knowledge working with landscape crews, and other service providers in the industry. I have a degree in horticulture which is the study of plants and have many relationships across the industry allowing The Riedell Group to provide all kinds of related services at a high-quality standard like plant health care sprays, tree trimming and turf applications. I have worked alongside many of the crew members for nearly 20 years and have worked and trained them to provide high-quality, attractive, sustainable, and affordable landscape services.
